Claude Code patched after leaking user email addresses in web requests
A privacy flaw in Anthropic's Claude Code CLI sent developers' signed-in email addresses inside the User-Agent header when fetching web pages. Anthropic confirmed the issue and pledged to strip user account details from the tool's request context.
